The FIS Roller Ski Asian Cup is a first ever regional series of competitions in roller skiing.
Asian countries have decided to organize such starts to develop skiing also in such regions where there is no snow. The idea was supported by the FIS.
At the spring meeting in Vilamoura, Portugal in May 2025, the FIS Roller Ski Asian Cup was approved by the FIS Roller Ski Sub Committee, FIS World Cup & Continental Cup Committee and the FIS Cross-Country Skiing Committee.
All athletes from countries whose NOCs are members of the OCA (The Olympic Council of Asia) and whose NSA are members of the FIS are eligible to participate in the ROLAC. The following nations are currently (2025) eligible: AFG, CHN, HKG, IND, IRI, JOR, JPN, KAZ, KGZ, KOR, KSA, KUW, LBN, MAS, MGL, NEP, PAK, PHI, PLE, PRK, QAT, SGP, SRI, THA, TJK, TPE, UAE, UZB.
NSA not from the Asian region may enter an unlimited number of athletes,
but they do not score Asian Cup points.
